Development

Developing JPEG and TIFF file is possible by using this setting.

Batch development

You can make adjustments to already developed images and you can put all the developed images together.
Even though the pictures are large, you can go back and make adjustments to the previous developed image. This is convenient.

Unsharp Mask

You can apply an unsharp mask to a developed image. When the reduction of development of the image has occurred, the image quality will also decrease. However, the unsharp mask can adjust the output medium while previewing the images.

De mosaic

Silkpix’s de mosaic algorithm ( a process of generating a color structure) which can continuously change the resolution is called development accuracy
If the development accuracy is improved, the resolution of the image increases but it will take more time to develop. You can shorten the developing time if you reduce the resolution of the image but, at the same time the development accuracy will also decrease. Therefore, we recommend setting your development accuracy to about (80 degrees)

Resolution plus ( Example: FUJIFILM FinePix S3Pro )

FujiFilm FinePix S3Pro takes wide mode photographs using low sensitivity pixels (R pixels). You can control the percentage of the specific details of the image.

Color space

The color space gives a developed tone and tone curve. You can develop a color space for the developed image file by using either [sRGB] or [adobeRGB].

sRGB is the standard color for Windows. Windows treats sRGB as the default color space. Please use sRGB as Window’s default setting.

Adobe RGB produces a larger color reproduction compared to sRGB. The image developed with SILKYPIX is processes with a photo retouching software and you can print them.
It is not possible to use it when there is no image-processing environment that can neatly treat the color profile. (The color becomes irregular)

Setting the Output file name

When a JPEG/TIFF file is generated. The following content such as optional naming is possible. Furthermore, an optional character string can be set. Please use this to manage your file and to do a file search, sorting and etc. after developing the image

Embedded ICC profile

It is possible to embed the ICC profile into the developed image (The information is added)

Setting the Image pixel size

The developed images pixel size can be adjusted.
When a developed image resolution is reduced, it is possible to fill in the weak areas of the under developed image.
Using our own original interpolation technology ( real zoom technology) you can expand the image and greatly reduce the jagged edges.
