7. Development Parameter Operation

    7.1 Saving Development Parameter
Click the "Save param." button on the "Development" tab to write development parameters of a selected scene in file format.

    7.2 Loading Development Parameter
Click the "Load param." button on the "Development" tab to load development parameters.
You can load the development parameters from the files, one of which was saved by "Save param." and the other was the developed result picture file.
When multiple scenes are selected in the thumbnail mode, the loaded parameters are reflected to all selected scenes.
      * In this software, since development parameters are embedded in a developed result picture file, you can take out the parameters of when the development was executed without recording them separately.

    7.3 Initializing Development Parameter
Click the "Init. param." button on the "Development" tab to initialize development parameters of a presently selected scene.
If this software is upgraded and there are parameters from the previous version, you need to initialize parameters. Otherwise, the development parameter mode which has the increased parameters because of the new version is not available for use.
In this case, you should initialize parameters.
When multiple scenes are selected in the thumbnail mode, all selected parameters are initialized.

The menu [Parameter(P)] - [Initialize development parameter(O)] can do the same operation.

7.4 Putting Development Parameter on Cloakroom
Use the "Cloakroom" function on the "Development" tab, to memorize or restore development parameters temporary.

In order to execute cloakroom, click this ">" button placed on the left side of "Cloakroom" button. When registration is done, a registered time is displayed on the button, and the button turns active.
When you press the button on which the registered time is displayed after registration, you can restore the registered parameters.
This function is convenient when you compare two or more development parameters. When you use "To maximize the use of Cache", you can switch screens quickly. See also 'To maximize the use of Cache.'

      * The parameters which are registered with cloakroom are available until this software completes. Since those parameters are cleared when this software completes, if you want to save them, you should use "Save parameter".

7.5 Setting Development Parameter to Multiple Scenes
You can set the parameters that are registered with cloakroom to multiple scenes. In the thumbnail mode, click this ">" button placed on the right side of the "Cloakroom" button.
It turns to the setting development parameter mode. In this mode, if you click thumbnails of the scenes on which you want to set a parameter, you can set the parameter to multiple scenes.
When you want to change this mode, once again click this ">" button placed on the right side of the "Cloakroom" button.

    7.6 Operating Multiple Selected Scenes
When multiple scenes are selected in the thumbnail mode, you can execute the following operations regarding development parameters.

      Initialize development parameter
This can restore development parameters of the selected picture to the initial state.
      • Paste development parameter
This can read and reflect the development parameters to the selected picture. The development parameters are copied from the picture to which development parameters have already been set.
      • Partial paste development parameter
You can select parameters for use among the development parameters that are copied from the picture to which development parameters have already been set and reflect them.
When you select [Partial paste development parameter] from the context menu, the "Paste parts of the development parameter" dialog is displayed.
Among the displayed items, check the items that you want to reflect and click "Execute" button to reflect them. Parameters of the unchecked items are not reflected.
